Our personal evangelism professor made this comment about the Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

Well, as someone once said, it's good for Southern Baptists to have "a translation we can control." Of course, we might all be better off if we were more interested in letting the Bible control us than we are in controlling the Bible.
